Frost/Nixon (DVD)

Like all films this one veres a bit from the truth but it's a good watch if you like the period and politics.
Although not a match for looks, Nixon is played well by Frank Langella, who comes across as always struggling for recognition and having a total lack of personality despite being the President. Michael Sheen does character portrayal well and doing David Frost is no exception, it would be interesting to know how both characters would see their portrayal although I've read Frost likes it. He certainly did not come across as we view him present day, or as younger viewers may remember him.
Worth a viewing.
Favourit quote Nixon to Frost, 'Did you do any fornicating last night?' A question he'd obviously heard other people ask in another way but could not ask himself.

great film - very good plot about nixon and david frost who interviews him ! it s a great film, worth having a dvd to watch it again as you may find there are more things you can take from it once its watched twice - i bought the dvd for just one pound so really worth it and will watch it again soon !!! excellent condition and excellent film

A FAB film with British actor Michael Sheen, in a rather dramatic re-telling of the post-Watergate TV interviews between British talk-show host David Frost and former president Richard Nixon, very hard to get hold of anywhere else.

Heard the trailers for this film so I thought I'd give it a try, Michael Sheen is excellent as David Frost. Its no action movie but then I did'nt think it would be, I think its well worth a watch even if like me you had'nt been born when the events this film were based on happened.

A world famous interview between Richard Nixion and a forma US President. touching on subjects of the watergate Conspiracy and other such matters, very very good dvd. Must have for all dvd collections.
