Not so impressed with the camera, actually putting few pounds more in, I could have bought used FinePix S5700, old but gold, amazing camera.
L55 is probably for kids, who just want to take photos.
Screen is grainy and don't show you picture quality, indoors and in dark results are very poor.
Overall just not the camera you want if you need little bit fine quality photos and want to proudly display on your facbook or flickr.

) bought this camera for ease of use and practicality, great camera does all sorts ofclever stuff like blink detection, and wrinkle remover,needs no batteries, because there is a rechargeable one, absolute bargain

Bought this camera as a quick replacement as my old one broke just prior togoing on holliday.Nice simple camera to operate,has all the features I need for a point and shoot,plus a few extras,read the manual first.Not really anything I dislike about this camera.
Good value for money camera.
Prefer this to my old one which was showing its age.
Would I reccommend this camera? YES.

) be careful there is a history that the CD rom with the owners manual on it doesnt load (mine didnt) having said that if you have owned a digital camera before you will be OK ie where to insert memory card, battery, download to laptop etc. Only buy this (and it is a decent camera)if you know digital cameras
