FujiFilm FinePix S3400 Digital Camera Review.
The Fuji S3400 is also referred to as the Fuji S3450 in America, the latest in the S-Range that Fuji have brought to market during summer 2011. It boasts HD High Definition video and pictures, a 14 megapixel resolution, a huge 28x Optical Zoom and a 24mm wide angle lens to name just a few of the stand out technical specifications.
This S3400HD bridge camera follows Fuji's trend of easy to use functionality, extremely user friendly, light weight and high quality results.
The big 3.0" (3 Inch) LCD allows great preview and playback of images and Fuji even throw in the wonderful EVF (Eye View finder) mode to give your shots the DSLR feel of looking through the view finder.
It uses Fujinon's excellent and infamous Wide Angle Lens, this award winning lens is held in high regard in the industry, the focal length when comparing to a 35mm SLR is equivalent to a 24mm - 672mm range whilst the Super Macro mode allows a 2cm close up shot (approximately) whilst still keeping excellent crisp images. With these top end specifications and with the ability to zoom so far whilst shooting in 24mm wide angle it's not surprising that the Long Zoom Bridge Camera is becoming a preferred choice to the Digital-SLR.
When testing this model I was very surprised how far the video has come, it will shoot in 720p HD, plus with the adding of a 32GB SDHC Memory Card you can get a lot of uninterrupted High Definition footage, when playing it back on the Glaxio office HD LED TV I was amazed at the quality and would happily take it to a wedding or my child’s birthday party to capture the occasion and hold it forever in excellent quality.
Other excellent features of the FinePix S3400 are Dual Stabilisation (anti-blur photo's), Face & Blink Detection, full manual control and intelligent flash. It also has the motion panorama mode allowing the user to sweep the camera from right to left creating one panoramic image, this mode is excellent for landscape photo's of beautiful scenery.
The Fuji S3400 feels like it covers both ends of the market, amateur or professional; It can be a simple point and shoot allowing the less experienced user to obtain top quality images easily in the Auto Modes or full manual control can be taken over the settings allowing the user to get more in depth with the camera producing more artistic and professional looking shots.

This is a great bridge camera, for those wishing to take the next step up. Still idiot proof but gives you the range to experiment and try new things if you want to.
