The HTC 7 Mozart is one of three Windows Phone 7 launch handsets from the Taiwanese company, offering a surround-sound experience for video and music playback from your humble handset.
The 1GHz processor also powers a 3.7-inch WVGA screen, an eight-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and 720p HD video recording as well as all 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity for speedy web browsing.

Nice, Simple and Smooth

I come from a windows mobile world... my first windows mobile device was a Sagem myS7 which was a decent brick phone. The best thing bout windows mobile was that it was open. open in terms of what you install, where you guy your apps etc. There was nothing stopping you anywhere.
My biggest gripe about Windows Phone 7 was the new restrictions. Eventually when my Omnia i900 had issues, i looked for a decent pocketable windows phone 7 WP7 device and there was Mozart.
Device
It is about 1cm smaller in height and width as compared to Omnia 7 or HD7 even Trophy 7. So i went for it and thank god, it is slightly bigger than i900 but still pretty pocketable. Its about 120 gms. The unibody is nice. Though if i ever need to rip it apart, unibody is going to be a pain but for now its good. Nice and metallic. The battery going through a slide out section at the bottom.
Operating System
It is simple and it is smooth. I am still getting used to the simpleness of the WP7 OS. Tiles are indeed a better option. You can move than around, you can add new ones etc. I managed to uni-install all the orange apps. It was fantastic. I dont like operator customisation and the fact that i could remove it added to my overall happiness.

Review for: HTC 7 Trophy - 8 GB - Black (Unlocked) Smartphone
Firstly may I say that the handset is very sleek. Having come from a previous windows mobile I couldn't believe just how different the operating system is, everything is so easy to use they really have thought about how users use there phones. Sure there are a few functions from previous winmo phones that I miss, but WP7 is very new and having read up on the internet I believe that a few functions will be re-instated in future updates. the screen is very bright and so sensitive to the touch. Since I bought the phone I truly haven't been able to put it down! The battery life is a bit rubbish but I think that is true of all modern smartphones, nothing a spare battery cant solve!
In summary I love my new Windows phone 7 HTC trophy and would recommend anyone to buy it.

Review for: HTC 7 Trophy - 8 GB - Black (Unlocked) Smartphone
Good
Sharp, colourful display
Lightning-fast
Decent camera
Reassuringly weighty
Bad
Very similar to other Windows Phone 7 mobiles
Not many apps in the app store yet
Verdict
The Windows Phone 7 experience can basically be summed with: "…but it's so nice".
You can use that phrase after any criticisms or daggers, and it won't ring hollow. Windows Phone 7 is just lovely to use. It feels personal and responsive.
But the it's the implementation of WP7 on the Trophy that makes the phone so good.

Review for: HTC 7 Trophy - 8 GB - Black (Unlocked) Smartphone
Hi,
I bought this phone as an entry level into Windows Phone , of which I have now updated to 7.5 with the Mango update.
Windows mobile 7 itself is excellent in my opinion, fantastic for syncronised email, calendars, contacts and file sharing between Office 365 and Sky Drive.
The interface is really slick and a joy to use.
The phone itself is usual HTC quality, average quality, screen scratches quite easily, but the biggest downfall of this phone is the battery life, we are talking 5-8 hrs at absolute maximum! Meaning I constantly have it plugged in at work and at home now.
For the £180 I paid I'm very happy with it, at least until Nokia bring out a good WP7.
