A Great Read For Kids And Adults Alike!

 | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I bought the product for my son. I have been a fan for many years, but either borrowed the books or gave them to my younger brothers. I thought now was the time to pass on this legendary series to the next generation, so I am starting from scratch with book 1. The book is great, the story of a young boy who knows nothing of the great and vast potential he has as a wizard. It's packed full of adventure and is, in places, truly heartwarming. This is the first of seven books, there was only one disappointing one in my opinion (order of the phoenix) and they get better throughout, so start here and read them all!!

A great book to challenge younger readers

A fantastic way to encourage children to read 'proper' books. My 8 year old daughter has not put the book down from the moment we received it, and we have bought other Harry Potter books to carry on with the story.
Highly recommended!!

First of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone charts Harry's discovery and realisation that he is a wizard and his adventures at the wizarding school Hogwarts.

This is an excellent book for both children and adults alike. Well written, fast paced, with engaging characters- one of my favourite reads!

Such a great start to what I anticipate to be a great series of books. Not a massive reader but I finished this book within 2 days of receiving it and just couldn't put it down. The book is funny, thrilling and incredible how Rowling can relate magical characters to the reader. A must read to anyone with an imagination of any age.
