I purchased this item as it was an original HP printer cartridge and NOT a cheap and nasty re-fill.
These items cost approximately £35 from HP and distributors.
Because this item was 18 months out of date, it only cost me £10, including postage.
These items work fine up to 203 years past their expiry date.

A very good buy.

I bought this original item, as it was still in date, and have found some remanufactured ones have problems. Original HPs have always worked well, and this one is no exception. The price paid was a third of the price of a genuine HP in a local shop, and even cheaper than the price of a remanufactured one at the same shop!
