HP Light Cyan HP363 Cartridge - all about the ink...
An individual printing ink may be a strange thing to review, however, as I have a C7280 Printer which takes six colours then I tjought I should do one given I have just purchased one -- Light Cyan variety.
The HP363 Light Cyan can be purchased for about £6.19 from Amazon, so my recent purchase off ebay was excellent value, especially as the date is still well within specification. This is an important feature when buying HP cartridges as they are microchipped and the install date an important faeture.
Anywy my original cartridge will give an estimated 490 pages worth of ink according to HP. This estimation is quite a claim - and in my own experience I haven't had anything like this yield, but it largerly depends on the printing (photos consume it but everyday prints do not. That said, the cartridge still represents good value for money, as it lasts a fairly long time.
So why would I recommend purchasing this particular ink over the non-HP
varieties or refills? Well, the ink uses something called 'viviera' technology,
which means, if used in conjunction with HP's 'Premium Plus paper', it will
have a fade resistance of over 100 years which is quite an impressive claim.
This is especially important for me, as I often sell prints of my photos, so
having a guaranteed fade resistance is essential.
The inks are really easy to replace - especially on my printer (the C7280). All
you have to do is lift the hinge, push in the cartridge, close the hinge, and
you're done. It's a simple and non-messy process, even my children can do it and often have when I'm away.
The colour reproduction is top class with the light blue tones being extremely accurately represented on all paper types (another reason to purchase officially branded inks). If you have a compatible printer, I would highly recommend the HP 363 Light Cyan.
Highly recommend printing ink - give it a go if you've got a compatible
Summary: Excellent Ink

| Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
Hp printers have a nasty habit of not liking compatible cartridges, so using original HP ink is definitely worth the extra price.
The quality is also worth paying for.
This cartridge is good value, and it's not like you have to buy them every day.
