HP Q3964 Imaging Drum
If you own a laser printer that needs an imaging drum, then you don't have much choice as to whether you purchase one or not. However you do have a choice as to whether you purchase genuine manufacturers parts or remanufactured or pattern copies.
In my experience, there is a huge difference in performance. Sure the cheaper alternatives do work. But they don't last as long nor are they as consistent in their performance as originals. Therefore, my recommendation would always be to go for the original item. It will be dearer to purchase when you do buy them, but will undoubtedly last longer and therefore be cheaper in practive.
My only reservation which stops me givinga full 5/5 is that in my particular printer (HP 2820 all in one), I never got the full count of pages through before the drum needed replacing.
Nedless to say, if you shop around, you can get them well below the RRP and, of course, Ebay is a great place to grab a bargain. I've usually paid around 50% of RRP, so why not have a look and see if you can't also grab a great deal on a highly recommended item.
