House Party (DVD 2005)

I really love this film! It's extremely funny & very entertaining and it's packed loads of punch-lines & humour. There is still a beauty in the way the dialogue is presented and in the fashion of the young African-American teenagers that keeps it interesting for those that embrace such things.

Where the high school kids gets together for some fun, dancing, a little drinking & typical old-school trouble making and of course a little romance.
It is also refreshing because it plays to its intended audience, but never offends them, nor does it exclude people that aren't part of the scene. Unlike many other films which featured African-American casts of the time, it is mostly devoid of gangster drama, drugs, or serious crime that usually rear their ugly heads whenever an all-black cast emerges in Hollywood films.
Overall it is truly entertaining and a master piece in black humour and entertainment.

This purchase just had to be made. I was willing to pay over the odds for this one as it is classic film and served me well in my youth. Looking forward to putting it on and reminiscing. A must have for all Old Skool hip hop peeps!!!

i absolutly love this film, took me back 15 years twas great, i would definatly reccomend this film, kid and play were so funny, and i was so happy to have fornd it and watch it again x

This was a movie I first watched when it came out in the 1990's....it is soooo funny....I was delighted to find a copy on ebay.

It has a young Martin Lawrence, and the fabulous Kid and Play...I wanted to see whether it made me laugh as much today as it did back then and it certainly did.

This was an original, not a copy and a good buy.
