This Incredible Hulk collection contains two made for TV films, THE INCREDIBLE HULK RETURNS and THE TRIAL OF THE INCREDIBLE HULK, that are continuations of the popular TV show that ran from 1978-1982. Once again, Bill Bixby is Dr. David Banner and Lou Ferrigno his alter ego, the Hulk. In THE INCREDIBLE HULK RETURNS, the Hulk teams up with fellow comic book hero Thor to fight evil just as Banner seems to have found a cure for his big green alter ego.<BR><BR>THE TRIAL OF THE INCREDIBLE HULK finds Dr. Banner on trial in New York after being accused of assault by a woman pressured to lie by the nefarious Kingpin. Defended by attorney Matt Murdock, who moonlights as the superhero Daredevil, Banner eventually teams up with his attorney to bring down Kingpin after the Hulk escapes from jail.

) this was ok. I personally thought the tv series were better, but you have to see lou ferigno in these two shows. If your a hulk fan like myself then it's a must for your collection. All I can say is both lou and Bill don't age at all.

The strong man

here we are looking at a series that i watched at my grandparents house when i was a kid. I loved both the films and the series. I strongly believe that the bixby/ferrigno films are much better than the CGI-gone crazy world of today. Upon watching this the audience becopmes to appreciate strength and power, and to be able to watch a bodybuilder deadlift then flip a car- its amazing.
The opening credits scene of the series is fantastic, it really gives you an insight into the character and you feel sorry for what he has to go through. The fact that the main character is so intelligent ( being a doctor) already brings a huge lift to the show, because this intrigues the audience. Also by watching shows like this, it inspires people in different ways- wanting to becopme a doctor, solve crimes, train become strong and powerful, all these things. Its amazing that a show can have such an effect. Also to talk about the final shot on the opening credits- wow. This involves a sort of split screen where one half shows the sorrow and determination of Dr David Banner's face whereas the other half shows half the face of the HULK, where you can see the anger, and upon hearing the roar (beautiful sound) you feel the power.
Also the film with Thor gives quite a nice slice of comedy to the film.
