Jtek JTX4 (16 GB) Digital Media Player

I bought two of these for my 12 year old daughter, and 9 year old son, although I had problems trying to load them it was down to me and not the media player, I contacted jtek support and had a fantastic response they pointed me in the right direction, and were more than willing to help further if I required it. The media players themselves are made to a good quality and great value, the music quality with earphones connected is great, the touch screen is easy and user friendly to navigate,the picture quality for downloaded music videos or feature length films is outstanding for such a compact unit, and the screen size is comfortable to watch a movie without straining, to sum up the kids love them so if they are happy then so am I,and there is loads of storage space left to add more film etc.
Now to add to the above, since I wrote this unfortunatley my Son dropped his Jtek on the kitchen floor and sadly the face seperated from the back causing the unit to fail,I emailed Jtek in the vain hope they could help,I knew it would not be a warranty claim anyway they told me to box it up and send it back and they would see what they could do, I did this and sent it away on a thursday and to my suprise my son was back on his Jtek the following wednesday. Now this has to be a first! a great product with great back up support it brings back my faith in Human nature " Sue and the Jtek team you made my son very happy again Thanks"

just an update to my previous reviews:- Thanks to you we went on holiday 21-07-12 with 'both' Jteks and they were perfect,great whilst in the car/departure lounges/aircraft and finally the television channel reception was not up to much in our accomodation (only Greek), so we plugged the MP4/5 player into the telly and watched the films that I had put onto each of the kids Jteks

Lovely bit of kit. Very easy to use in all Formats. The quality of the actual player is top notch.

Easy to see every icon etc as the screen is a brilliant size - yet still compact enough to fit into any pocket or bag etc.

I usually throw away any headphones sent with MP3 players as they never sit well inside your ears.
However these Jtek headphones are not only comfortable to wear - the sound is exceptionally good.

The help I got from the Jtek Customer Service people was quick & First Class when I wanted a query answered via e-mail.

It's dose what it's say's on the tin ! I can play movie's on my HD TV it's great for that. Has a manual inside the unit so hook it up to your PC and open file's. You carn't your plug it to the TV you have select TV output +PAL on the unit. E-book reader ok you can select the reading view size' mp3 as different playing mode's classic jazz etc with hearphone's. The touch screen I would give an ok picture viewer is good you can select play purture's and it will go through them,it as fader or flick through setting. It's ideal for travel it as an plugin charger easy plug to use on any HD TV to watch movie's. For the money what you get is a 5 star player! If your looking for something outstanding then it like any thing else's you pay for what you get. If you want a good player watch on the move at home yes this one is very good.

This is truly an excellent device!

I wanted an mp3 player, which would also let me watch videos. With this you can watch full films, music videos and YouTube clips. It’s large enough to enjoy a film on the move, but small enough to go anywhere with you.

It has great sound quality both with and without headphones.

It is very easy to use, responsive and quick to react.

Hard to believe the price is so low.

Value for money cant beat it.
Picture quality very good.
Could do with a features being a little easier to use but when got the hang of it its fine
Its not as a good as a product that costs 400pound but at this price its not far from it
