Kodak Easy Share DX3600 Camera.
Created: 07/12/07
I have owned one of these cameras for several years. After recently lending it to my In-Laws whilst taking a holiday abroad, they loved it. It is easy to use and produces photos which are of a far better quality than its 2.2MP rating leads you to believe.
At their request I have recently bought them one from ebay......although I have now upgraded my own DX3600, I have retained it as a spare because it is so good.
Fantastic photographs, ease of use, 100% reliability and long battery life are all great aspects of this camera - even though it is larger than its newer versions it still represents fantastic value for money.
If you are new to digital photography and want a great used camera on a budget, this is the one to get. Make sure you get all the contents of the original box! A memory card can be sourced on ebay for as little as £13.00.

Kodak EasyShare DX3600 Zoom Digital Camera

If you are looking for a cost effective, easy to use digital camera then you can't go wrong with a DX3600. Having purchased one of these cameras new around four years ago, it is still going strong and with its original Kodak
battery!
So when I wanted another office camera that I was quite happy to sit around waiting to be used, would'nt cook its battery left plugged in, was easy for users to take pictures with and retrieve images from, I bought another one.
With a reasonable lens, optical zoom and 2.6mp sensor, it works out of the box, talks to PC's with ease and the charging dock is a piece of cake.
Trnasferring pictures is easy, with the camera in the dock, you just press the transfer button, and windows says hello, the DX3600 is connected, open explorer and browse away - Happy Days! I never bothered to install the Kodak software, I am sure it is very good for some users, but its not for me.
Happy snapping is easy, logical menus, simple operation, automatic flash and quality images make the difference and the DX3600 competes very well too. It may be an ugly duckling, but give me simple and reliable any day!

DX3600 dockable digital camera

These are simply awful quality cameras in terms of the final image, but totally brilliant when it comes to a rechargeable camera and dock situation - we use 15 of these in our warehouse, all the same, users can dock their camera into any PC! Great camera if you don't want something that eats AA batteries, and you don't mind the low image quality. The second advantage is that they are so cheap and low quality that no-one takes them home!
We'll keep buying them so long as they're on eBay at reasonable money.

Kodak basic camera

You can pick one of these up for a couple of quid and I recommend you do just that! It's a handy-sized, robust, easy-to-use baby. You just turn on the power - which opens the lens protecting cover - point it and click. You get the image in the screen at the back; and can immediately delete if you wish. It takes Compact Flash cards and two AA batteries. It's USB-linked, and has a manual on CD together with some rather good software for sorting and viewing your snaps. You can even make videos! There's a comprehensive but easy to use set of on-screen menus - although most of the time all you need to do is switch on and click!

I use this type of camera for training youngsters at a local charity organisation, it is easy to use just right for beginners, good battery life, and internal memory make it ideal. It produces excellent quality 6*4 ( or larger) pictures for a very low budget.
