LG 42LD450 42" 1080p HD LCD Television

After much umming and ahhing i took the plunge on this set,with the Ebuyer offer price it was a steal!
It has a beautiful ipod style piano black gloss finish which seems to be 'de rigeur' these days which can show up all fingerprints but LG thoughtfully provide a small cloth to wipe away any sticky paw prints.
The set itself was simple to set up (which took only a few mins) just set to auto tune & let it do its thing.
Analouge signal & digital signal reception are superb (even though East Sussex has not fully switched to digital yet)
I have my Sky+ system on a scart to 3 rca lead which is catered for via the sets component input,my laptop runs on one of the hdmi inputs (vga out also available) & my hard drive media player on the other hdmi input.
There are plenty of connectivity options 1 scart/1 vga/2 hdmi/component& usb
The only downside is that the usb will only play music & picture files not movies.
The picture & sound quality are superb & i would definately recommend this set to anyone be it for movies/gaming or just general viewing.
The Sky remote code is 0206 if you are wondering!

The price for this was very good and delivery was very fast.

The TV looks great and has a really nice picture and sound.
CON
There is a buzzing/humming sound which appears to be coming from the internal power supply when the TV is on. I am not sure if this is damage from transit or if it is just a feature of this model (cheap power amp?). Some people probably wouldn't notice it but it drives me nuts. If it is a feature of this model I would rather pay extra not to have it.

It was a 1 day offer only at this price, and as a good branded TV i decided to buy and jolly good i did as it turned out to be well worth the money, my sister moaned at me because i did not tell her but managed to purchase one from a leading Electrical shop for £20 more this was a bank holiday special price but could not match Ebuyer! the only downfall is it is difficult to get your sky remote to control TV (i did at last) as you have to try and find a set up code, apart from that TV set is so easy!

Fantastic value for money, its the cheapest I have seen anywhere. There was also the added bonus of free postage and packaging. Beautiful T.V. Fantastic picture quality and excellent sound.

The reason I purchased this particular television was the size of screen and price... "dislike" tried 32 pin numbers supplied by sky for the remote control and am still unsuccessful... they do not recognize the model.aaaaggghh
