Review for: LG Optimus GT540 - 32 GB - Black (Vodafone) Smartphone
This phone is great for first time touch sceen users. Less responsive screen than an i-phone but it simply means that you make less mistakes. The apps via android are easy to upload and software updates and "plug in " software is available as free download from the LG web site. Easy to use and with wi-fi, googlemail, gsm and google this phone has what most users would need from a phone, complete with e-mail address savers, gsm mapping, google maps (via free app) and links from contacts to saved facebook accounts ( with free app) this phone is great as a phone and as fun way to contact friends. Easy sharing of photos to facebook is a nice touch. Still really "learning" this phone but the reviews on other sites and my own thoughts are that this is a great phone for the lower end price bracket...in other words...a better phone han the price tag suggests!

LG GT540 Optimus Pro's and Con's

Review for: LG Optimus GT540 - 32 GB - Black (Vodafone) Smartphone
When the android operating system first came into the british market, there were loads of issues, but like any new technology, Google learnt and got stronger - and to showcase this, the LG Optimus is an incredible little phone. Upgrading to 2.1 was simple, and using the market to download apps is as easy as using my gmail account. Intuitive graphical display and wide range of uses including Hi Res games and useful apps to utilise the GPS and help find shops and restaurants. The GT540 is a real joy to use. If I had to be critical I might say that the battery doesnt last as long as It did on my old phone, but then I am doing a load more things with this one. Also I found that the internal memory that can be installed to could be a bit bigger, but after investigation into other Android phones, this is common with some except the more expensive Androids. To sum up, for the price it would be difficult to find a phone that looks stylish, feels quality and behaves like a phone costing much more. I have never given LG much of a chance but after this I will be a lot more open minded to their products. I moved from an iphone 3gs to this little gem and I simply cant put it down!

LG Optimus GT540 Mobile Phone

This is a lovely piece of hardware. To start with i had a problem updating but that was sorted by reconnecting the phone. That aside, the touch is quite sensitive (not iPhone 4 great but still pretty good). You receive alot more than you pay for with this item £100. It holds a charge very well, and has a nice camera, but there is NO flash on the camera... That aside again, you can edit the photo to make up for the lost brightness of the photo. Its a very easy to use mobile with both a QWERTY and Alphanumeric On-screen keypads. Very user friendly and I would recommend to anyone who is considering a touchscreen phone. Not to mention, the Android Market is just as good, if not better than the Apple App Store as hit titles such as Angry Birds are free on the Android Market.
Look: 9/10
Accessibility: 9/10
Screen Sensitivity: 8/10
Screen Quality: 9/10
Overall this phone deserves 9/10 and is a GREAT phone for all intents and purposes.
