Logitech X-140 Computer Speakers

This is the second set of these speakers that I have bought.

The original set were bought for work and I use them when working late and need to listen to music (normaly an internet radio). The second set bought for the home computer for simple good sound reproduction.

The speakers are larger than the current trend and design of speakers but they do house the power supply internally in one. This one also houses the volume/on/off switch, the tone adjuster, headfones socket and line in for connecting your MP3 player when computer not running.

The installation couldn't be easier, as long as you have sound output from your computer. Set up the speakers either side of the monitor, plug green plug into corresponding socket in computer, plug in the mains and away you go! OK there is a little sound level adjustment but nothing else at all.

These speakers aren't going to be perfect and won't be to everyone's tastes but if your looking for better sound than either none or monitor speakers then these should suit you just fine. If your looking for high quality sound then you might consider something higher up the range.

In brief;

Good quality speakers for normal users with good instructions and intuitive to use.

Not for the sound specialist.

I had quite a buying spree recently on ebay and managed to purcahse a laptop, headphones but l am never satisfied with the sound that comes out of a laptop as l need it for my work as well.

I made a quick decision to purchase the Logitech x140 speakers without doing a lot of research but needed a set of speakers real quick, so l ordered them and they arrived the next day.

I pluged them into the brand new laptop and l have to say it was a lucky day that l ordered the Logitech x 140 speakers, they were and are just perfect for the job even down to the same colour of my laptop, my son is so impressed that he keeps on stealing them for his karaoke sessions on the computer.

I bought these to give music sound to my computer installation without taking up too much space. they give really good sound for small speakers and are simple to install.

Very good sound although small size.If somebody moving home,or still is in the journey and really like sound better then from computer then I really recommend this modell

I bought these speakers because my others broke, these new ones are very adequate for the job intended,for using with my computer,and the price was competitive to others we viewed at that time, they match in well with other items in the room also. I think that they are nicely designed, easy to understand instructions included,I prefered the taller design to my to my old small round ones. So all in all very pleased with my purchase.
If you wanted speakers that needed huge output and bust your eardrums maybe you'd need to go for something more appropriate for that job, so having said that i'm happy with them.
