It is a tripod and it is okay. If you buy one you won't go far wrong but I can't say it changed my life.

I use it with a Manfrotto fluid head with a Canon dSLR for video and, unfortunately, I have to say that it is not that stable and it will move about if you are not very careful indeed. So, watch out and take extra care if you intend using it for this purpose. Lots of really good photographers told me it wouldn't move about and they were wrong. Take extra care with your video capture, especially with pans and tilts.

Still, I only paid 40-odd quid for it and I genuinely think that is all it is worth. After all, it is just a bunch of aluminium poles with a bit of cast iron on the top. I would hate to have paid the full retail price.

Best tripod i have owned by far. Easy to use, light and stable.

With its pivoting centre column and multi position legs you can always get the position you need for the best shot.

I use it mainly for macro work where getting into tight spots and low to the ground is needed and this makes it a breeze.

I also use it for wildlife shots and landscape although with its light weight and multi position legs it can seem a little unstable in windy conditions.

The tripod is steady and very well made. For outdoor use its good but not the best as it has a very heavy build making it difficult to carry around.
