Michael McIntyre Live & Laughing DVD (2008)
Created: 03/06/09
If you've already seen Michael McIntyre's 'Live at the Apollo', and watched him on various panel comedy shows then you'll be pleased to hear that his "Live and Laughing" tour isn't a re-working of his older material, although some of it does seem to be cropping up when he makes appearances on TV. Yes there are a couple of lines which you may have seen practised on Mock the Week, but you watch this and feel that you're getting good value for money.
McIntyre takes inspiration from his home life for much of the show, from his seemingly anti-Semitic baby, to booking a holiday, to the 'man drawer' and this insight into his life makes him more entertaining.
I really enjoyed watching this tour live and I don't think I have witnessed my family laugh so much. I initially gave this 4 stars, but in retrospect I think it deserves 5. The Live at the Apollo performance which is included on this DVD contains his legendary 'man getting his head stuck in the tube train doors' routine which always has me in stitches no matter how many times I watch it. This is a brilliant stand up performance, a lot of creative imagination has gone into it, and I do not doubt that you will laugh until you have tears.

Michael McIntyre- Live and Laughing DVD Review
Created: 07/10/09
I decided to buy this dvd for my boyfriend as we are big fans of Michael McIntyre. We are going to watch him live in november but really wanted a dvd to watch at home. Its a great dvd which i will be watching over and over. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys comedy. Its humor without being too crude, so i have no doubt you will be laughing the whole way through this dvd.

I bought this dvd for my daughter who is a big fan. She wanted me to watch it with her, which I did, not expecting much but found myself laughing all the way through. He is a very funny man and doesn't have to resort to being nasty or crude to get a laugh as so many other comedy acts do. Well worth a look....

M.Mcintyre is a great and upcoming comic, this dvd is what its all about, its a pity there are not more like him about, you dont need a dvd with nothing but bad language,in it.thats one of the reasons of buying this dvd off this seller,of great taste.thats the problem these days with alot of comedians, they think its cool all of this bad language but it gets a big no from me,,,lets have more from people like p.kay, jethro,M Mcintyre etc.getting back to the bad DVDs,thats why i think there is no respect for anything these days, the young people of today have been brought up on nothing but bad language and violence, easily accesable in todays DVD SOCIETY,THERE OUGHT TO BE MORE RESTICTIONS ON THE SELLING SIDE ALSO ON THE MANUFACTOURING,plus the people who make them,,,,,
