Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Full Version, Standard License for PC

Product installed without difficulty on iMac under VMware Fusion 3.11.
An improvement in many ways on Windows XP system I had previously. However, takes three times longer than Mac OS to boot up and already many updates sent by Microsoft!
Overall not as user friendly as Mac but will do the job of running some software occasionally like TaxCalc which is Windows only. VMware Fusion allows full integration with Mac folders and files and connects seamlessly to internet, printers etc.

When I first received this product I never had time to load it but when I did I was suprised the amount of content that was in the package. My computer was really slow and Vist wasn't really compatable with Internet Explorer 9 which is why I bought this full version of Windows7, which in my mind was under sold. Windows 7 has proved to be a spring clean for my computer, it has sped up especially when working hand in hand with IE9. Loading it can't be any easier than walking your dog (if you've got one!). If you have any problems they can only be simple ones, you have shiners10 at the end of the line to give you answers. That is if you can't sort them yourself. I think that if anyone was to consider any other package/OS they are crazy, nothing could be simpler than Windows 7 and you get so much for your money.

A huge step forward for MicroSoft. This operating system is intuitive and stable. This version is the installation, not the upgrade, therefore you're warned to back everything up. The good news is that even though programes aren't re0installed, the installation does not format the disk, it installs alongside XP so most of your data remains intact.

I bought a full copy of windows 7 to dual boot with Linux.

For 2 months, Linux Mint has been my primary OS and I love it for its speed and simplicity.

Some things work better with Windows 7 (eg Freecall).However, Linux Mint is free and is not overburdened with programs that I don't need or use and that slow the computer down.

My computer came with Vista which was fraught with glitches. Windows 7 has been trouble free, apart from problems going wireless.

Windows 7 is still liable to virus attack and you must have virus protection. Linux is not prone to virus attack and I don't need a firewall or anti-virus.

Big question on any software bought on this sort of site has to be, is it genuine? Given that the price is significantly lower than available from usual outlets.

Well all I can say is the Windows 7 I bought here activated fine and is currently updating without demur from Microsoft' so I can certainly say it appears to be.
