Great little machine for every day use
I love this little processor and bought it to replace my old identical one which I blew up by overfilling with bread mix and leaving too long. It's sits on the shelf and is easy to grab and use without any fuss. Fantastic for chopping onions, meat, cheese into little chunks. I don't bother with the cheese grater as mine seems to struggle with this but you can easily use the blade instead. In fact I use mine nearly every day and find the dough and chopping blade so good there is no need for the other accessories. I tried a Breville when I broke my old Morphy Richards, but found it too fiddly and not as ergonomic to grab and use straight away. I like the way the Morphy Richards is easy to wash - although you may find the 'food drop' chute is a little small it's just as easy to open the lid and throw the items in. It won't withstand prolonged processing and does get hot, but the blades are sharp enough that this is rarely needed, and can be avoided by pulsing a few times before going for the full 'burn'. I would not ever trust bread dough in one as with my old one, the bread dough got elastic and climbed up the inside of the spindle onto the underneath of the bowl and it was a bit of a mare! If you want to knead dough buy a bread machine. For me this machine is ideal and I am going to get a spare for when I destroy this one by overworking it, as I am bound to do! It is a little machine, designed for little jobs and can be pushed to far - use it carefully and it is a joy. Shame they can't be bought new anymore.
