* * * RAZR V3i LOVE AFFAIR * * *
Love this particular phone and have always found it easy to use from day one though the level of options in terms of skins, wallpaper and icons can vary dependant on both the model and network your with. It is straightforward and simple to use which combined with its slim profile, internal / external displays & camera coupled with some stunning colour options really does it for me ! An added bonus (although one seldom used by myself) are triband, bluetooth and web capability so it's there if you need it. OK I know it isn't touch screen nor does it have an MP3 player or an onboard computer nor will it provide you with sattelite navigation and niether can it make you breakfast in bed ! . . . but who cares ! REMEMBER ! IT'S A PHONE ! . . . AND HOW MUCH OF ALL THAT OTHER STUFF ARE YOU GOING TO USE ANYWAY . . . HONESTLY ! In summary an elegant, capable & reliable little phone that should at least please some of the people all of the time . . . and all of the people some of the time . . . but due to individual taste and the continual technological advances you will never please all of the people all of the time ! . . . but for my money it comes very close !
NICE ONE MOTOROLA :-)
motorola v3i- reliable. (dunc)
the motorola v3i boasts a great camera, and is an easy-to-use phone. the sound quality was good and i had this phone for well over a year before the battery started running low. this is the only con, the buttons start to get a bit gimpy after a while with time, and you find yourself charging up the phone more often. but overall, a tough little handset.
An great full featured phone that stands out in a crowd
Having owned a V3 for a number of years which gave good service & value, I was amazed how the my V3i replacement was so much improved. Apart from improved screen resolution, bluetooth, camera quality and additional phone functions, it came with may more included accessories such a car charger and a good quality hands free fit. For me one big advantage is it's ability to use memory cards, which with the included USB lead allows direct access from a computer. Very usefull for up or downloading pictures or MP3 tracks for the onboard player. An to top it all it's a great good looker and continues to turn heads when I use it, even if it is a bit dated now by the iPhone revolution. A real winner!

I bought this phone second-hand to replace my old one (a Sony Ericsson), which had done the usual trick of the joystick wearing out, and didn't get any signal 90% of the time. Last time I buy from them.
The Motorola's camera isn't as good, and the menus are a bit confusing, but I love the hard-wearing metal case, the screen on the outside (cracked on mine, but easily replaceable), the good controls and the slim size (feels less like you're carrying a brick around in your pocket!).
An absolute bargain, as you can pick them up for very little on Ebay. And a hint for nothing? Buy one with a cracked outer screen, as they're cheaper. There's a guy selling replacement screens for £3 including postage, and they're a doddle to fit- just use a blade to lever the old one up, and stick the new one down.

RELIABLE BASIC PHONE
If you are looking for a good handset that does all the basics well then this is ideal. The design is very good- it looks great and the buttons are easy to use. The smaller outside screen has photo caller i.d. so you can see who is ringing without having to open the phone.The camera is just a basic vga camera with no flash, but it's not bad to take quick snaps with. There is only a small internal memory on the phone,and there is no memory card slot, but again if you are after a simple handset there is easily enough space for quite few pictures and few ring tones.They are very reliable little phones.
