Motorola XOOM 32GB, Wi-Fi (Unlocked), 10.1in - Black

The Xoom is probably one of the less well known tablets, however with Motorola's special relaitionship with Google the tablet is receiving frequent updates for the operating system, I just got the update to jelly bean. The speed of loading apps and internet has increased . The tablet has a quality feel with the alloy case wrapped round to meet the glass screen, this is finished off with plastic at the top for the volume buttons and the rear camera. The SD card handling could be a bit more polished.The tablet has a similar feel to the iPad for finish.:-)

The xoom is pure awesomeness. Android honeycomb is delicious.

Apple with its stupid closed system is a pure joke. I will probably never even consider an apple product anymore. I don't like to go trough 1000 sync problems and finding free online file converters just to get a file from my tablet to even only windows.

This whole apple euphoria is as stupid as the limp biz it euphoria was at one time.

To me apple is just plain stupid in the way its build.

Thumbs up on the xoom. Elegant, powerful, cross-compatible.

All the apps one could need on a tablet.

Now if Ios has double as much, it is like the guy saying, I have 10 cars while you have only five.

Apple = Crapple

This was purchased as a present for my partner, who is not very tech savvy.

She wanted to use it as a book reader, internet access and e mail.

All these were very easy yo set up and she is finding it easy to use, so excellent from that point of view.

The screen is excellent with good detail and colour, the touch screen is great and the sound from the built in speakers is pretty good.

Only slight negative is that it needs a separate charger and does not charge from the usb connector, just means you have to remember to take the charger and not use one of the myriad of usb chargers we have.

This is the best tablet on the market, it is fast, very good Wi-Fi and a lot of apps. The Xoom can be rooted and install custom roms, it can be updated to latest operating system jelly bean. If you are looking at a tablet that is Strong and sturday, reliable and does what you want it to do, then this is the one, it is far better than the iPad.

I absolutely love my Motorola tablet. The one and only problem I have with it now and then is using the keyboard ..... I try to go too fast! But I think it's just a case of getting used to it. Anyone thinking of buying one ..... go on and do it! :-)
