NETGEAR DGN2200 300 Mbps 4-Port 10/100 Wireless N Router

I bought this product to improve wireless transfer and get better signal coverage. I have a few wireless devices, printer, phone, laptop and a desktop. My Pc is connected via LAN.
This product does what its supposed to, the only issue I have with it is its heat output. If you run it horizontally it overheats and shuts down. The only way to keep it running is vertically with the supplied stand. Maybe its because I am a heavy user. But my room is small and this thing is like an electric fire in the room. You can put your hands on it and it feels very, very warm.
It does work though and will come in handy in the winter.
Personally just for the heat issue I'd look for something else and read a lot of reviews next time.
Bonus feature is you can hook up a networked hard drive so everone can use it via usb. I haven't tried this yet as I'm already sitting here in my underpants sweating from the heat.

Absolutely fantastic. I now had 4 different routers (diff makes) and after I did an in-depth internet research about this I was hoping it would deliver a solid performance as a budget w/less router. Unlike anything I had before, this N300 DGN2200 is absolutely amazing! No drop-outs, great connection, easy setup, massive increase in range compared with G standards. I can nothing but compliment this router.

Fast, reliable, looks good, easy to setup and was a great price too. Packaged very well and happy to recommend to anyone looking for a new router that does what it says on the tin!

easy too use, great signal using wifi, looks great in piano black and nice feature being able too lock wifi when popping out!
