Iwas to be honest wary of this product,however I was pleasantly surprised. The item is value for money. One must admire all the accessories supplied,the best by far being the sun screen, which I must say is a godsend.The picture quality is excellent. The programs available are impressive, whether they will be used is entirely dependant on the user. I found the setting of routes to be cumbersome & the route displays available are bland to say the least.The sound quality is adequate,but no more than that,to get the best from the unit the use of an earpiece is advisable.The memory is first class.The seller of the unit should be complimented on the free 2yr. warranty & of course the free lifetime map updates. The more expensive suppliers could learn a great deal from this seller.The cover & thee socket input are also valueable additions.If you have a limited budget this unit cannot be suppassed.
I would also add that if you are unsure whether you really want a sat nav this unit is an ideal,inexpensive introduction to the realms of sat navs.
Now will this be my 1st.choice unit,unfortunately no. I will use it as a secondary unit to my Tom Tom. However a decent Tom Tom costs a lot more & does not have as many features. I will also add many of the accessories supplied would have to be paid for if you purchase a Tom Tom.
Another point to be taken into account which is a definite plus for this unit is the choices of vehicle * the options relating to the mode of transport,from pedestrian to lorry.The seller should also be congratulated for the range of maps supplied.
In conclusion I would say this unit for the price is well worth the money,but if you have the extra cash go for a Tom Tom,however if like myself you require an inexpensive back up unit you will find no better than this at the price. The unit infact is not really a dedIcated GPS but a mini notebook/tablet. I find nothing wrong with that.Was I satified with my purchase,yes I was it was as much, if not a little more than I expected. Yes the unit is a wortwhile inexpensive unit that fulfils all the basic requirements needed in a sat nav at a reasonable standard at a rock bottom price.Iwould recommend the unit with some resevations to my colleagues.

I bought this unit as I wanted a truck specific navigation unit, and I'm very pleased with it. It is simple to use and the screen is very clear. It's not overfilled with information to distract you, just the basics.

Hasn't steered me wrong yet but it does get a bit confused if your delivery point is within a weight limit. This unit is, in my opinion, far superior to the Snooper Truckmate for two simple reasons. 1, Speed. The truckmate still can't get it into it's thick head that trucks can't do 70 mph so the ETA's are all wrong. 2, the price! £400+ for a truckmate or £75 for this, and trust me, this does everything the truckmate will do, and more.

Problems? well, none so far. Updating is easy to do and it hasn't thrown a wobbler yet. I think the speaker could be improved as it's a bit quiet even on full blast. The bluetooth comes in handy but you can't hear the caller very well. It will broadcast on an empty FM frequency but I don't use this as my Pure Highway DAB radio does this too and the sat nav caused interference.

Not the best of satnavs. Took me a while to set up and i don't think i can entirely trust it on a truck route as it trys to send me down roads that i think, maybe, i shouldn't be going down in a 50 footer. Still got it side by side with the tomtom untill i am sure about it. Sound is a bit on the quiet side when travelling at a higher speed and some of the graphics are hard to see when there is any sun nearby. Good size screen though and graphics are not too bad, as i said, in the shade.
Supposed to be two sets of maps on the thing but i'll be buggered if i can find one set. This part of the setup is proving to be very difficult to get my head around.
All in all given the chance again, i would go for another tomtom. Its only the price that made me go for this particular satnav.

I bought this lorry version to avoid being sent on unsuitable roads in my motorhome. It took me some time to get to grips with how to set things up as the manual isn't very comprehensive. However after limited testing it seems to do the job although some suggested routes aren't the most sensible (I suppose I would do the same if I didn't know the roads and looked at a map) and aren't the way I would choose to go.
It's very easy to change from large vehicle to car.
I haven't managed to get the hang of how to update the maps as the downloaded map file isn't the same type as anything I can find preloaded. I'm currently trying to get additional information via the email address found on the download website.
Very good value and should come prove invaluable when I'm looking for motorhome stopovers on the continent.
