The New Contented Little Baby Book: The Secret to Calm and Confident Parenting by Gina Ford (Paperback, 2006)

I brought this as i have worn out my first copy! they say kids dont come with instructions but i beg to differ as this is them! i first used it when it was recommended by a friend in 2007 for my first son, and now 2 more children later it has been a life saver, all 3 of my kids are thriving on these routines and my new 6 week old baby is doing incredibly well following the these routines! i do agree that it can be very strict etc however just taking the main principles and advice in this book helps me to be a very calm and contented mother!

The book has lots of tips and helpful advice. Ideal for those who prefer to have a system in place to give them the confidence to cope with a new baby.

I love this book. It was my bible when my now 5 year old daughter was born and just had to have it again now I have 16 weeks to go! Very disciplined, but well worth it for the results! A happy, stable, contented little baby! Oh, and parents!

a concise routine to help baby move from milk to solids very gently, allowing a range of tastes to develop. an excellent book to help parents give baby the best start to food with varied healthy choices, avoiding them becoming picky eaters as they grow. worked well for my sister who recommended it to me with my baby. I like the plan, it's easy to follow and suits baby and me well.

I love Gina Ford, her techniques have worked perfectly for my 4 year old, who has followed Gina Fords routines, feeding and potty training advice. I am now doing it all again with my newborn and would never be without what are called 'The bibles' in my house. Would recommend all her books to any parent who has the patience to see the routines through, it is all worth it.
