What an amazing lens! It's light, bright (f1.8) and extremley quick to focus. Got to be the best value for money lens in the Nikon range and out performs it budget by a big margin.

This is a stunning lens regardless of its low cost. It gives clean, crisp images with a natural high contrast and, whilst it's a great all-rounder, it's perfect for retro black & white shots. Fantastic low-light capability, fast auto-focus -it's a must have lens and, if I'm not doing a specific job that requires longer or wider, it's always attached to my D7000. Don't even think about it - just buy one!

) THIS IS A SUPERB PRIME LENS THAT IS WORTHY OF THE NIKON BADGE.AT F1.8 FULL APERTURE PICTURE QUALITY IS STILL VERY GOOD,MORE THAN USABLE.SWEET SPOT FOR BEST QUALITY F2.8-F5.6.FOCUSING VERY SILENT AND REASONABLY FAST.WONDERFULL LENS AND WORTH EVERY PENNY.
