Nikon Nikkor AF-S 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR DX G ED Lens

The Nikon zoom lens is a must if you intend on taking pictures from a distance eg. across the hills & landscapes, sports, even the moon. I'm using it on a Nikon D5100 and its just an awesome lens to own. I realised the need of this lens when I was travelling through the Scottish Highlands, so many breathtaking scenery and my regular 18-55mm lens was doing no justice to what I was experiencing. So since then I have been researching on Nikon zoom lenses and came to the conclusion that this lens is the best in the market for quality, pricing & function.
For amateur photography, I would recommend this 10/10 as it does magic and make your photos look like some desktop backgrounds online.
The only thing about the lens for beginners is that you will have to learn shooting in manual (aperture, shutter speed, iso) for few shots to get the best of it. Also on full zoom at 300mm, it is advisable to use a tripod unless your entirely happy with the result.
If you have the money for this baby, go get it or save for it.... Its really worth it !!

A must for any one with a Nikon camera this lens will suite most peoples needs in wildlife photography and every day pictures as well..the auto focus and anti shake make the final picture razor sharp..unless you deliberately.. have blurred background or foreground..These lenses suite all Nikon that have no auto focus drives on the camera body like the D5000 which I have..the lens is not all that heavy and the focus drive is as smooth as anything,,hardly any noise from the focus

Makes all money,great pictures,super zoom,everything ok,i'll recomend for anybody who want something special.

I Bought This Lens Mainly To Take Photos Of An Airshow I Went To Recently.
I Am Glad I Did Now As It Took Some Stunning Shots Of Fast Jets In Flight.
Its Not Too Heavy Either With Both Manual & Auto Focus Working Flawless.
VR Also Helped A Lot As My Hands Got A Little Shaky.
The Quality Of The Pictures Were Excellent Considering How Much The Lens Costs.
All In All If Your After A Great Lens For Not A Lot Of Money.
This Should Fit The Bill Nicely I.M.O.A.

very nice product good for telephoto lens clear but a little slow at auto-focusing but apart from that its a very good buy and happy with my purchase
