Nintendo Wii Black Console (PAL)

More of a PS fan, I bought this console as an aid to keeping fit after playing a round of Wii Sports with my family!

Good little machine. Games are quite dated, but great for entertaining! Wii Sports, Zumba and Sing-star are fantastic played with friends and family.

Liked the easy installation and set up. Good looking console. Small and practical. Didn't like that I couldn't connect it to my Touchsmart 610-1270uk PC, without having to buy a Wii HDMI Converter first, but not hard to find and the console does come with everything needed to connect to a TV.

Accessories are a bit pricey for the age of console and it's rivalries (don't think it'd been updated except the colour), but not overly expensive.

PlayStation versus Wii....well, I'm more of a PS girl myself, but I do like that the Wii offers a totally different gaming experience compared to the PS, which I guess makes the console quite unique.

I've no problems with the vendor but it was a mistake to buy a reconditioned console only. I had to buy all of the things that are bundled with the Wii such as a mains lead and transformer, a composite cable for the TV, a sensor bar and games. I couldn't get it to work in colour on my HDTV monitor. I woul recommend that fellow ebay buyers should opt for a new Wii. Also a tip, if you are connecting to an HDTV use the scart adaptor to get the Wii in colour.

i brought this as a christmas present,i like the fact you have to move around to play will keep my kids fit and will be able to buy other games for it

For me the purchase of a nintendo Wii revolved solely around the Mario series, the first two games bought Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros. For this fact alone this is a fantastic console. Also the standard Wii sports with the console is always good for a laugh and always an addition to friends coming over. Overall, a good console, especially for the money.

good for family with small kid, but it uses cd technology ,so when the cd scratched you have to purchase new one.. i had also problem with the cd laser reader once, so need to buy second box as a repair will cost double the cost of buying a preown fr ebay..
