Nintendo Wii Sports Resort Pack White Console (PAL)

I've like the wii for some time now and i decided since the recent price drop to actually buy one. I was a nintendo kid but after the snes moved on to the ps1, 2 and 3.

Nintendo were clever and knew they couldnt beat the graphics of the bigger companies and so went for a new idea with the motion control. I say new, really they have had this technology in the making for the past 20 odd years in the form of a glove you would wear back in the 80's for the original nes. It didnt take off.

what i will say is if your looking for graphics stick to the ps or xbox consols but for fun with your friends i would recommend you get one of these and as many party games as pos.

I can't see myself playing fifa on it or anything like that but tennis, racing games, the mario series and the mini game's are lots of fun on your own but more so when there's a group of you. I found myself playing just dance yesterday which i would never in a million years play normally being a 27 year old bloke :O) but it was my friends game and she brought it over to play and i really enjoyed myself. it was a laugh and thats what this consol is, lots of fun for the familly.

buy one, you can get new one's now under £100, its a good investment. :O)

great overall buy :) happy with the game selection considering the price, just dance is especially good. i bought this because i want to improve my fitness at home. very convinient and fun, this product was a good price all factors considering, and im really glad i bought it second hand from ebay instead of paying considerably more for a new one.

Well I must say a very impressive console. Very colourfull GUI and games. The wifi is excellent.
The only thing that is lacking is the amount of user freedom. The capabillities are restricted by the manufacturer and the true power and resources are only unleashed when the console is modded. Then the machine becomes a dream for a user who can modify backgrounds amongst other things, play dvds and games from an external hard drive.
Nintendo have done a great job but if only they would stop fighting the adventurous user and take part in modding. I think it would pay off and I dont think people would mind paying a monthly license fee of say £3 for playing backed up games on their hard drives. Instead of getting no income from users who are shall we say saving a buck, charge everybody a monthly fee and play all you like. Nintendo grow a brain.

Easy to set up and use, small and sleek looking console bound to fit in with your other electronic goods. Console is available in black as well as white for a low price they are many accessories for more fun filled game play too. Lots of games can be bought, many game titles are based around movement and active game play so it many even help you keep fit. This console is wifi capable and can be added to any home network with easy, most games can be played online too.

fun for all the family originally bought for my little girl and yes it is still hers, but on trying it out it has become a family competition. who can do the best and win each other and poor daddy as competitive as he is, generally is not the winner. We got the console through ebay at a fantastic price comes with the sports resort disc and controller as well as the motion detector well at least the one i won did, and since we tried it out i have had to buy an extra controller 2 nunchucks and numerous amounts of games and extra fittings.; The console is addictive and great for proper family time, even if does make daddy cry lol must have for children as yes it is playing a computer but the games keep the bairns moving and jumping and basically active. Love the competitive edge, the graphics and yes it also improves hand to eye coordination as i know, as mine is generally terrible, hope this review helps
