Reliable basic mobile 'phone with good performance.
I bought this mobile phone (item 170257154371) for an elderley friend with possible poor hearing who needs a very simple / basic mobile phone that is very easy to use that is reliable for emergencies. This 'phone meets all these requirements. For example, the ring signal is very load and the signal reception is excellent - even better than some modern mobile phones that are much more expensive. The built in torch is also very useful for emergencies. The display is very easy to read and can even be read in day light / sun light. The keypad is very good with well designed waterproof keypad with good tactile feel and good positive action without too much finger / thumb pressure. Menu is also easy to use - again a big plus for an elderley person to use.
Battery life is good and replacement batteries are also still available despite this being quite an old model. I had to return this mobile phone only because I wanted an unlocked phone and have since bought an identical phone but unlocked. Otherwise this phone was working very well indeed (see above performance review).Seller D TASKER (nftrucker) quickly offered me a full refund and was very professional.
Spare Mobile 2
Nokia 1100 mobile phones are simple to use .
Useful alarm clock
Date and time
If you read the manual you can lock the key pad so you dont phone up people willy nilly.
I did it four times oce in the middle of the night whiles I was in hospital.
Fortunately it phoned my daughter who realized it was me and she phoned the nurse on duty and she woke me up and switched me off!! I was not popular and read the manual next day.
I like a bargain . I bought the last one as spare 2 in case my wife lost hers .
She did within a week but found it again in another hand bag.
It was a good bargain about half price.

| Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
The Nokia 1100 is an entry-level phone, designed with simplicity and reliability in mind. One nice feature of the 1100 is its silicon keypad - easy-to-use and non-slip. The sides of the phone are also made of a non-slip material, so overall the phone is nice to hold and physically easy to use.
The 1100 does come with a few gimmicky features, such as a torch, but Nokia has mostly stuck to basic features, so reliability and user-friendliness should follow. If you're looking for something exciting, look elsewhere, but if you want a basic phone with excellent battery life, the Nokia 1100 is a good choice. The new Nokia 1110 improves on the 1100 in a number of ways.
my nokia 1100

Nokia 1100 mobile phone
Simple to use basic phone for people who just want a phone to make calls or text with and don't need it as some kind of fashion statement.Good points are its size, clear and logical menu, reasonable battery life,a useful little torch and cost. The only real drawback I have had is that the numbers on the fascia wear off in the long term. I bought a pattern part replacement for mine and despite giving it a coat of clear nail polish to protect it,the numbers have started to wear off again.I still have the phone though it has now been relegated to the role of a spare. It's replacement is a Nokia 1600 which is a similar sort of thing except it has a few updates such as a colour screen, more hard wearing buttons and polyphonic ring tones that don't make that annoying racket that the ones on the 1100 do.It doesn't have the little torch though which was handy for finding the keyhole on dark nights
