Nokia 1661 - Black (Unlocked) Mobile Phone

This phone suits my needs perfectly.
It works out at less than a tenner due to the fact it comes with £10 credit.
Ok no camera,video,bluetouth etc but I just need a phone for text and making calls so if thats what you want this fits the bill.
Good battery life and simple to use it also looks good.
There is also a Fm radio flashlight and extras such as organiser,calculater,currency converter.
Overall highly recomended and value for money

I bought this phone because I wanted an inexpensive, high quality, uncomplicated mobile with familiar, easy-to-navigate-and-use features.

The Nokia 1661 doesn't have an MP3 player, internet access, touchscreen, or any other of today's 'must have' features; what it does have is excellent battery life, very good reception, a clear colour screen, an FM radio (headphones included), an LED torch, and Nokia's intuitive menu navigation. It also looks good with its grey, soft-feel back and dark red edging.

I'd lose the torch, and the ringtone selection is a bit naff, but this is otherwise a very good phone for people who want simplicity: it's great for making/receiving calls and texting (isn't that what mobiles are for?).

If you are looking for a basic Mobile phone, than Nokia 1661 classic is the mobile phone for you.

You can make and receive call along with sms, and few other basic functions classed as mobile phone functions, but if you are looking for a mobile phone less computer than this phone is not for you.

Overall it is good for calling and texting, which is enough for it to called a mobile phone. Obviously not jam packed with features like most phones today are.

This phone is excellent for making calls and texting only. It is very well built and is sturdy so there is no chance of breaking while in your bag or pocket. The screen is crystal clear which I was surprised by.

The only thing I did not like about this phone was the size of the buttons, I often press the wrong button while texting due to the buttons being too small and too close together.

Overall I rate this phone as a 8.5/10 :)

This phone feels light and sturdy, with a clear display and solid buttons. Menu's and displays can be adjusted to suit and made to look quite cool with the colour screen. There is also a radio which for this lower end phone is pretty impressive. Very happy, suprisingly good it does exactly what it says on the tin!
