like that thing says, it's a phone and it works... woooo. suck it. Features include color screen (two coloors, orange and black) numberpad which doubles up as text message entering device, hands free dialing (with the help of a small stick) and a dropable ruber cover that makes it last margianlly longer than a normal phone. State of the art monophonic ringtone composer. Modern and convenient string attachment points. Can double as a paperweight or doorstop. Customizable screensaver pictures via the pixel by pixel picture editor. ADJUSTABLE RINGTONE VOLUME. Short Message Service compatable. WAP, bitches. End review.

Nokia 5210, life in an old phone?
Created: 05/01/08
The Nokia 5210 was bought for an archaeologist who has a tendancy to destroy normal phones. Left in a pocket and used on site in muddy conditions, normal phones tend to give up and whimper quietly in a corner aftr a few weeks. The Nokia 5210 seemed a good compromise...strength and dust-proofing over gadgetry! Ok so theres no camera, no fancy colour screen and no mms (it is an old phone after all)but it sends texts and recieves calls and that about all this archaeologist wanted!
However, the limited amount of stored texts and lack of battery power (in this phone anyway) has been a problem. Given that no-one seems to make a hard wearing, tough phone anymore, if thats what you need then its worth trying. I know people who have dropped this in puddles and run over it in landrovers and it still seemed to work so thats got to be in its favour but maybe it would be best served as a second phone for mucky situations only with the back-up of a more modern phone for non-work.

Still a nice phone!

The Nokia 5210,i believe, has stood the test of time well, even though it was released nearly 10 years ago,it still looks modern, and although lacks a colour screen,or camera, and all the other whistles and bells that clutter modern phones, provides a compact, tough, simple layout and ease of use,to still be attractive to anybody who longs for simplicity, after all,a phone is for making and receiving calls with, let's get back to basics!

A robust and primitive phone
Created: 19/06/08
This is an old (I mean a few years ago)black and white (well, orange and black) screen with Infra red (no Bluetooth) and few frills (no camera - some picture handling - and you can compose tunes) What it does offer is a rugged external case and strong keyboard which should resist more of those events which some people throw at their phones.
