Nokia Fold 2720 - Black (Unlocked) Mobile Phone

I bought this SIM-free as a replacement for a mobile phone that I thought I had lost. I am on a PAYG contract and wanted a simple, inexpensive phone that had basic functionality for phone calls.
It has a good battery life on standby. The good thing about the folding design is that the keys are bigger (I'm not a teenager!!) and, because they are not accessible when closed, there is no chance of the keyboard unlocking and dialling mysterious numbers while the phone is in your pocket (a problem I had had with my previous one). The bad thing about this level of Nokia phones is that there is no way to control how long the display stays before it fades to black.

The 2720 is a neat and user friendly little flip phone. The menu is typically nokia (which I must admit that I like)and easy to view, the keys are large and easy to use for this size phone (although they can be a bit difficult to read under certain conditions. Battery life is good, just remember to switch off bluetooth when you are not using it as this does have a dramatic effect on battery life. If you leave it on all the time, you will need to charge the phone about 1.5 days earlier.
The phone does struggle a bit in weak reception areas, especially compared to my old nokia 3109.
Not sure why they have included a camera in this phone, as there is no way of expanding the memory and you will very quickly run out of storage space, which is very limited.

Good quality phone. Large buttons make it easy to use. All the usual features of an expensive phone with a value for money price tag. Battery life isnt that brilliant if you are constantly using it, but it charges very quickly. All in all a good little phone.

Looks good, and was the cheapest of this model on ebay.........................e​ven included £10 airtime! Nice big keys, smallish but adequate, screen, easy to navigate. Also bought a pouch for it to keep it in pristine condition. I tend to use my phone for texts and calls 90% of the time, so I am happy to be without hi tech items I would never use. There is little to dislike, as it has features I did not expect at this price! (£39.99 + postage). If you are looking for a smart, straightforward Nokia, this is it!
So, why did I buy? My existing Nokia is a very upmarket model I could never get to grips with, and even needed the manual to find out how to retrieve my photos! Plus it abounds with features which are wasted on me, and I did find it quite heavy and clunky!

I wanted to purchase a simple phone for my personal use since I already have a smart phone for work use. it's small and hides away very conveniently. It's so easy to use that I didn't find any use for the manual. It's a straight forward phone. Ample of information also when it is closed as it has a descrete screen on the front. Battery life is also very good. Sound is loud and clear.
It has everything you would expect from a simple phone and more. For sure a good value for money.
What I would have added?, perhaps the possibility of taking a mini sd card or some sort of extra memory as this is what's lacking in this phone. However I am still convinced it has been a good choice.
