BUY ONE!!! this is what should be installed in all laptops and personal computers. I have a 240GB version from OCZ and my i7 Dell takes 9secs to start up into Win7 with 11 programs all ready to run. One thing you must do when you recieve this item is update the firmware. It really does help. Been installing these into Dual Core laptops and they are all springing back to life. WELL WORTH IT!!!

A magic fast hard drive ! Job Done :)

GParted from Ubuntu 10.10 put a bootable flag and some NTFS partitions onto it. Then Windows7 installation from DVD and that went normally. I've not yet verified how well the partitioning works but it got Windows7 boottime from 1 minute on previous equipment down to about 40 seconds, with the biggest delays waiting for the network to do updates.

If Windows could live without updates for a couple of days then I could do some serious programming. This year it won't, and that introduces security risks so severe that I might take it off my good system and use only my Atom 525 board for tasks which require Windows. For everything to do with browsing, email, comms, and writing, Ubuntu is faster and better.

I have always been sceptic about buying one thinking, it could not improve Windows/Gaming experience that much. I was wrong! OS installed in less than 15 minutes, then starting in less than a minute! Coupled with SATA 3.0 fast CPU, loads of RAM and decent graphic card makes just swallows all the games you throw at it, and it does not even chew them!

sooo fash and a greta price, really boosts performance and load up time, on FX-8 oct core and 990FXA board my machine boots window 7 ultiamte in >20 easily with anitvirus, firewall and about 15 startup programs. a must by for any gaming build or just a heavily used pc !!
