I bought this camera so i'd have a compact SLR that shoots onto film, that i could take with me abroad without worrying too much about losing or damaging it because it was very affordable to replace.
It does exactly what i expected it too, although i have not yet had any films developed. If you are familiar with using this type of camera (fully manual settings) then it is easy to use and a good size for taking with you everywhere.
My camera came with a case - which i highly recommend, also a strap is very useful. If i lost or broke this camera i wouldn't hesitate to buy another one like it. Olympus is a trusted brand.

This is a brilliant 35mm camera. Olympus quality on the entire build + lenses. It is an aperture priority automatic camera....set the aperture you want and the camera will pick the correct shutter speed. It can also be used with a manual adaptor which will allow you to pick both the aperture and shutter speed. There are some fantastic examples on Ebay....pick one up for an excellent price and you will not be sorry. Free download of instructions available on the internet.

I have only just bought and have not used it yet. It seems to be a good type of apperture priority film camera with a lot of features. It now finishes my collection of 35mm film SLR cameras which I intend to use and not store in a cupboard to be admired.

Yes, it's ok. Small, light and with decent enough lenses. However, it really is a camera for the complete beginner. If you must have an aperture priority only SLR (and as far as I'm concerned, it is AE only - the so-called manual adaptor is a pain to use) the Nikon EM is far superior.
Alternatively, why not buy something that 'grows' as you do - AE plus the opportunity to experiment with 'Manual'. Then the choice is almost limitless. How about a Minolta X300 (better and cheaper lenses), a Nikon FG (better and more expensive lenses), or a Pentax P30? The latter two will allow you to use your lenses on your DSLR too.
Or, think outside the box - a Yashica FR-1, perhaps a Chinon Memotron...? If you really must have an Olympus, an OM40.
Personally, if I didn't have a DSLR it would be a Minolta X500 or XD7. If I did, and wanted lens interchangability, it would be a Nikon FE (if I could afford one!).
You can guess which of the above I have and use. The camera in the car, 'just in case', is a Cosina (another review due..)

If you like 35mm film this is a very good camera to beginners and experts alike.
It's a SLR whit automatic aperture priority operation, which means you'll always need batteries for it to work but they are common (SR44, LR44).
If you have a manual adapter you can also set the speed manualy.
The lens is very good and fast and have a Depth of field preview feature.
If you are new to film the insertion of a new roll can be a little bit dificult, but in time you'll manage it.
