Orange San Francisco - Black (Unlocked) Smartphone

An awesome, feature-packed Android smart phone, (also known as the ZTE Blade).
Well built, nice and clear 3.5 inch screen, simple to use and fun to play with.
Easy to root the phone and get rid of the Orange 'bloatware'. Also easy to put your prefered version of Android OS on: I'm using 2.3 and it runs as smooth as a peach! :)
My only nit-picking gripe is that the camera is a bit poor, (especially in low light situations as there is no flash or LED light).
Other than that I love this phone, (can you tell ;)

This Android phone does 95% of what others do-- for a quarter of the price.
It has all of the features people want: WiFi, GPS, camera, etc.
Battery life is average, but not bad if you turn off the services you don't use (WiFi, etc.)

Hello. I bought this phone unlocked from Ebay. The phone has exceeded my expectations. With my typical usage the battery can go for upto 2 days, the range of apps available is excellent and the phone feels like a much more expensive handset. It also has a bright OLED screen. Very easy to use although little fiddly but then if you like to tinker you will love this phone.

Grewat little android smartphone and can run 2.1 2.2 or even 2.3 roms. Loads of howtos available on the net. Mine was already unlocked but apparantly quite easy to do yourself.

bought as a replacment handset as my s2 was stolen, used it for two weeks now and find it fairly ok, battery life is not that good if you use it on line, would need top up charge mid day, not had an issue with reception or apps failing, think i would look for the san fransisco 2 mainly as the screen is larger, but this one is still a good size, the querty keyboard is not that bad if you turn the unit side on, but if you have fat finges you do end up hitting two keys at once, so pedictive text is very handy, overall not a bad little phone, well worth looking at if you can get the right price.
