Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FS35/DMC-FH25 16.1 MP Digital Camera - Violet

Grain in all photos is unacceptable. On a good quality monitor, all photos show grit and grain at ISO 100 and normal colour settings. All set at maximum size and quality and dynamic range exposure. Also colourful subjects like autumnal trees, show a watercolour effect of roughness and lack of edge detail and sharpness in leaves, etc. The flash is poor, it barely lights up dim objects a few feet away. This is a shame as this camera is tiny and has lots of pre set scenes. The start up time and shutter release, are very fast and the handling is superb. Battery lasts about 100 shots. Also there is no aperture priority to obtain best focus from smaller f numbers. The flash is poor unless subjects are close.

this is a pocket camera easy to use but the quality of the pictures is only average at best.I have a couple of good digital slr cameras with lower m/pixels that give much sharper pictures due to larger and better quality lenses.I also have a Samsung of the same size as the lumix which is also better.considering this camera is recommended by WHICH and amazon customers it makes you think.This is last years model which might explain some of it.

Its very good camera ,one of the best in this price with excelent pictures quality and lots of modes ,but one think disipoit me ,that is movie mode dont let you make zoom,with hd quality and 10 x optical zoom should be pobible to my . anyway its good buy

I bought this product to replace another camera which was too big and chunky so i needed something that was easy to carry around and this camera is perfect! it takes amazing pictures and the zoom takes a good clear image. This product is also an excellent value for it's money, im so glad that I purchased it.

I bought this camera for thre reasons, 1) because a friend recommended it, 2) it was on offer at a very low price, 3) it has a greater optical zoom than my current camera.
It is a nice little camera, but no better than the Sony which I had before, in fact the screen on the Sony is bigger.
I would recommend it, but not more than the Sony.
