Lumix return with another TZ model. There are all the features here that people with earlier models will recognise. Unfortunately, the video quiality out weighs the image quality this time. I found the video recordings to be of a much higher standard than the images. Howeveer, images taken and viewed at a small size are great, but when viewing them in full resolution, grain is present.
Overall, as a video camera the Tz20 is a great asset! You can capture stunning videos and have a multitude of different settings to play with, for both video recording and image capture.
The camera is fast and easy to use. Within seconds of switching it on you can begin shooting, with no nasty loading times or hassel. The shutter speed as a standard is very quick and an image is captured and store within half a second.
The camera's weight feels good. i dont like light weight, as they tend to feel cheap. It is nice and compact.
The Tz20 is a perfect companion for the holiday traveller. You have fantastic HD video and great quality images at your finger tips. I would not reccomend the Tz20 for those who are quality enthusiasts. If you are wanting high resolution printing, the Tz20 may be a let down. But for sharing your photos online (facebook etc.) or 6x4 printing, the tz20 is great.

This camera is a pleasure to own. I have returned to the TZ model (after having owned the TZ5 and TZ7, and a Sony TX7, subsequently) because I did like the series, particularly the TZ5 (not a great fun of the TZ7). While the Sony machine is a great little camera, with a very versatile, large touch screen, it does not have the zooming capacity of the TZ20, hence its recent purchase. Having compared pictures, while both machines perform well, I find the colours of the TZ20 crispier than the Sony's (at times, these are a bit too soft, for my taste). However, both camera do not perform brilliantly indoors but this can be managed by the using he manual settings. The TZ20 also feels sturdier and does have lots of useful features in a pretty small body (I am indeed aware they are very different models!). I did also try the Canon SX230 before buying the Panasonic model and, yes, pictures indoors are better, but those outdoors are not as good as those produced by the TZ20. I also like the latter's new software that is more intuitive than in the old models and other makes.
All in all, I think the TZ20 is an excellent camera that allows one to capture very good pictures from very different shooting distances. A bit pricey still but worth the money.

It's the camera everyone wants.Refurb but brand new at #50 cheaper than Argos . The camera is superb and we have now bought 3 of this model from VennalCameras. So easy to use - it does it all -and you can focus just by touching what you want to focus on the screen. Ideal for video and you can zoom in and out with this camera. The GPS has a database of one million places in the camera. It comes with a years makers guarantee. The battery lasts all day easily. It works with a standard SD card.Just touch the button to do video. It all downloads straight into My Pictures and it all works - no problems at all - without the need for a program like Pinnacle.I got it because my colleague at work knows his cameras - and he was certainly right about this one.

I bought this one because my previous identical one got wet (air con in the glove box in the car), and because I have had four Lumix cameras before and liked them all. The picture quality is at least as good as the others I have had (FZ28 etc) and it is much smaller and easily carried in a pocket for convenience. The zoom is better, too, at up to 21x. It's now my main camera and I'm still really pleased with it. It's sometimes entertaining when the touch screen decides to take pictures, and it would be improved if there was an extra-bright mode for the screen in sunlight.

The camera takes excellent ZS10 videos and photos in good light, low light picture quality is very poor, very poor detail.
