Phil & Teds SPORT DOUBLE Standard Stroller

With a toddler and another baby on the way, we needed a twin buggy suitable to carry both around and after looking at all the options, we decided on the Phil and Teds Sport. This is a great buggy whatever mode you use it. It's easy to push and manouver even with 2 toddlers in it. The big air-filled tyres help it go over rough surfaces easily and the ride is so smooth.
It folds and unfolds easily, and is relatively small once folded (given it's size). The adjustable handle height is very useful too.
If you're planning on having 2 kids close together, would definately recommend you buy this as a single to use with the first kid, then buy the double kit when the second comes along. I only wish we had done that rather than spend £300+ twice.

A few downsides:
1) the brake is awkward to apply (you get used to it)
2) it's heavy once folded to lift into your car (but you don't notice the weight when pushing)
3) the hood/sun-shade isn't big enough (already have an extra sun canopy)

Don't buy a cheap o-baby copy, the Phil & Ted's is worth the money.
This is the best twin/tandem buggy you can buy.

I wanted this buggy as we have one child, a toddler and one on the way. To put the images of me being pulled in 3 directions at the shops to the back of my mind we began looking at double buggies. This make really stood out as it seemed to be super-trendy and practical with out all the worries about fitting it on narrow pavements and around shopping aisles. The £500.00 price tag put us off so we looked on ebay and were amazed at the long lasting quality of the phil & teds, some sellers claiming theirs were 4th hand! Well build, good looking and kids love it especially the underneath seat! The only downside is they are heavy to lift. Winner for me.

There are so many things to love!:
-The wheels pop off with a simple button, making the pushchair very small (considering the unfolded size, and comparing it to similar pushchairs)
-With wheels off, It fits in my small boot (Corsa) with room for shopping
-Doubles kit goes completely flat so takes up virtually next to no room at all
-Handles brilliantly with an without doubles kit, despite obviously being heavier with doubles kit and extra child
-Copes with kerbs and lumpy pavements and roads brilliantly, children are not thrown about
-They seem to last forever and simply suffer a few scratches and loss of foam on handle from unfolding in carparks. Very rarely do you hear of any frames breaking.
-Very popular pushchair so loads of extras available at competitive prices
-Easily updates with comparably inexpensive new seat fabrics if old one tired/worn/faded.
-Best double I have even seen or used! So easy to put up and down, easy round shops, on busses and trains, in and out of car, single or double
Bad points
-Can't hand baby bag over handle when 2nd child behind (although this is naughty to do anyway and we all know it!)
-NOTHING ELSE AT ALL!!!

best pushchair i have ever brought!

This pushchair is great! It is a sturdy pushchair but still easy to push. It is very simple to fold and when folded and wheels removed(very simple!) it even fits in my Citroen C1 boot, if you know it, it is tiny!! The basket is spacious and the doubles kit is very easy to attach.

The only downside to this pram is that it is pretty long, but this is obviously because it is a tandem double so the space has to come from somewhere and once you are used to pushing it, it is fine!!

I have nothing but praise for this pram, great buy!! :)

Love the buggy. Should have gotten it from the start, instead of struggling along with side by side buggies and buggy boards etc... Phil & Teds is by far the best of the best, as long as you have a big car to fit all in.
