Description
When a spacecraft crashes on a mysterious planet, the remaining survivors turn to Riddick, a convicted murderer, to help them survive. It appears that the only life form on the planet is a dangerous species of flesh-eating alien that emerges from underground when darkness appears. Before long, the abandoned passengers realise that a rare eclipse is about to immerse the planet in darkness, declaring open season on each and every one of them.

i loved his acting in it was very inspiring he played a great villian/hero type love science fiction just one of the best sci-fi i have seen for a long time had a video of the film but couldn`t resist it for such a low price on ebay so got the dvd very pleased over the moon `hee hee thanks ah47-123

Sci horror flick about a group of law types and people in search of an escaped convict.Upon his capture they become stranded on an alien planet where they have to survive some local bird like creatures to make it out alive.
Cool film, worth watching.

Hide-behind-a-cushion science fiction horror film about a small group of survivors from a spaceship crash who find themselves on a weird planet where being afraid of the dark takes on a whole new meaning. The local inhabitants turn out to be flesh-eating little monsters who only come out to hunt for their prey at night. Van Diesel does well as a dangerous bad guy who becomes the group's only hope of survival.

A great film, full of action & strange creatures in the dark.... great to watch, will be watching again and not just for Vin Diesels looks, muscles & voice!! ;)

Vin Diesel in Good Movie Shock!

Vin Diesel is a dangerous convict being transported alongside fee-paying passengers onboard a space freighter when a collision with debris forces the ship to crash-land onto an apparently deserted planet.
The survivors assume that the prisoner is their only enemy - wrong!
This movie is an enjoyable sci-fi romp in the Alien mold and while not breaking any new ground, the special effects are very good, the script is OK and the pace never falters. Enjoy!
