) I picked up the first book in the series (Faerie Wars) at a book wholesale depot for a really good price, and found it remarkably engaging. This sequel takes off where the first finished, with even more fascinating characters, more detailed characterisation and fascinating developments throughout. It's a book I would recommend to all ages who want a well-written, easy-going but engaging and entertaining read. It's that perfect type of book for reading in the bath or just before bed, but be careful - you might not want to put it down.
