The name Roberts is enough to instill confidence, and although the build of this DAB is nothing like the old 1950s models (it's a hollow plastic shell), the overall feel and style is even better.

This is easily the best designed DAB I've seen and the best to use - converntional tuning knob - turn and click down when the correct station is showing. Lovely warm display screen, easy buttons along the top, glittering gold fittings, traditional smooth Roberts sound. Unlike some DABs, it uses coventional batteries.

For me, it's the best there is in the world of DAB.

Brilliant radio. It's very simple but does exactly what you need from a DAB. The sound quality is good. I miss the ability to set it to go off as I've had with previous radios.

It looks beautiful and that is what you're paying the money for. But equally I have no complaints for its performance.
