Rocky Horror Picture Show (DVD 2003)

The Rocky Horror Picture show is a cult musical,I had a video copy of it some years ago,but to find the version featuring Tim Curry on a DVD was excellent.
The music is timeless,the script is Brilliant,and the acting is suitably over the top.
For anybody reading this,and thinking ,musical?sound of music? think again,The performances by Tim Curry,Susan Sarandan,Richard Obrien,et al are superb.
This Picture gets under your skin to the extent of (a)prancing round the room to the Time Warp,to(b)trying not to cry to Im going home.
This is a DVD well worth watching,for if nothing else it has a certain Mr Chris Biggins in the chorus,and Meatloaf riding a WW2 Harley Davidson(something for everybody)
This film is wonderful,to use a revolting phrase,it ticks all the boxs.

This is well worth investing in,even if you are not a particularly fanatical fan of the movie. I decided to buy this for two reasons...my old VHS copy was getting very worn out and was living on borrowed time..and theres obviously many more interactive features on a DVD which were never possible on VHS. We really love this corny film. There are so many spoofs on old style B-movies in this film it is hilarious. It is now a cult classic in it's own right.It's even better if you have a large group watching the film (its great for Rocky Horror parties at home). With loads of opportunity for Audience Participation (AP) and throwing of various props such as rice,confetti,toilet paper etc etc plus an AP guide included on the disc,this is great for veterans and "virgins" alike. watching this film is an experience like no other..much more fun than a boring run-of-the-mill movie...a must-have classic for any collection..BUY IT!

What can I say? Brilliantly funny and bizarre, its sci-fi meets cabaret. This film is full of catchy songs and outrageous hilarity. This is science fiction that definitely doesn't take itself seriously. I would recommend this film to the rocky horror faithful and those who are completely new to it like myself.

watched this film years ago and taped it-no longer have video and wanted to see it again.it is one of the weirdest films i have ever seen,and one of the best!it is a mixture of musical,horror and dark comedy with a variety of strange characters.cult classic-for the lovers of the extreme and unusual!

I think the Rocky Horror Picture Show DVD is perfect it is just as if i purchased it from a shop. i decided to buy the film because i wanted it otherwise i would not have purchased it
