    Rogers LS3/5a Speakers hide most of their cost within the internal design. A phase-corrected crossover design and complex equalizer all fit within the 5.75” x 7.25” x 10.125” exterior. Crafted for a small room, the 7.5 lb Rogers Stereo Speakers will not successfully produce loud tunes without damaging the internal woofer. Despite the size Rogers Stereo Speakers do not produce a tinny sound. The large bass-booster within the Rogers speakers compensates for the small woofer by being efficient at 1.75 percent, comparable to a typical acoustic suspension system. Further, Rogers speakers have a 95 dB sound pressure level reaching up to 15’, or a distance similar to that which separates the conductor from the orchestra at a symphony. When a subwoofer is used at between 60 to 80 Hz, Rogers LS3/5a Speakers produce a clear sound of 100 to 105 dB, which can easily damage the ears of a listener. Hung high on a wall or placed on stand higher than 30” Rogers Stereo Speakers will further exemplify the bass.

    Compact speaker with gobsmacking lifelike reproduction of the human voice - I actually thought that Emmy Lou Harris was in the room with me for a second!
    Build quality is excellent, efficiency is probably a bit low, and power handling is not brilliant, I guess it would be easy to ruin these speakers with too much volume, see the LS3/5A website for burnouts.
    Expensive but worth every penny and so much better than the Linn Kans that I had until they were stolen from me (good luck thieves) because the only amp that I had that could drive the Kans was a 6watt per channel Rogers Cadet.
