Romy And Michele's High School Reunion (DVD 2001)

I absoloutly loved this film when i watched it years ago and already have it on vhs,but decided to get a dvd copy incase my video breaks.Its a really funny film about two friends who went to high school together then moved to LA.Years later they are invited to there 10 year high school reunion, and because they think there are lives are boring they decide to lie. They pretend they invented post its, at the reunion it all goes wrong and they are laughed at by there class mates. But to there surprise they find the clothes they wear and have designed and made themselves are a massive hit with classmate and fashion editor for Vouge,Lisa. Its a really funny colourful film with loads of laughs along the way. If you like girly films,you'll love this

Romy & Michele's Highschool Reunion takes the male buddy comedies of the 90's and mixes them with the chick flick to make for one unforgetable movie. Following Romy & Michele's Quest to prove to their old school mates that they were popular, Romy & Michele decide that they have invented post-it notes. Thats just the beginning of their adventures though. The DVD itself is poor in the way of any extras, but the film is so good you'll find yourself watching it all over again from the beginning when it ends.

I wathced it when i was younger an loved it so when I found it on Ebay I was delighted and had to have it :)

It's one of those movies which brings back the bubblegum pop of the 80s; thrusting nostligia at the viewer, no matter how much or little they may have heard of 80s music.
This movie got me obssessed with fashion and design. It taught me loads of funky little things to say; as well as planty of little cheesy dance moves to try!
Down side, you can smell the cheese before you press 'play', and it is a bit beyond 'far fetched'.
This film is watchable over and over again. Probably more appealing to girls, due to the fashion, girlie homour, and high-school b*tchiness!
Great casting: Romy: Mira Sorvino (Mimic) and Michele: Lisa Kudrow (Freinds)Their friendship is so realistic, right through to the daft arguments, which go far too far!
Definately worth a watch :-)

I bought this film because you can watch it over and over again,great girl film reminds you of your high school days!!!
