I have been using this in student accommodation for about 2 months now. It was a bargain at £30.

First off, it's a very sleek and good looking unit. It really is stylish and looks very smart in black with a mirror effect door. The inside isn't huge but is still big enough to fit a large plate. What more do you really need?

It's got a few power settings and a manual timer on it which makes a reasonably loud 'ding' when the food is done. Unfortunately, it's not very powerful and when cooking stuff, it seems to consistently cook only the outside, leaving the inside lukewarm/cool. It's not a huge issue - you just have to stir halfway through cooking. However, we didn't have this issue with our previous microwave.

Another downside is the lack of 'rubber feet' to keep the microwave on the surface you put it on. This is a little irritating as the door release is manual (you have to pull the door open instead of pressing a button), and sometimes this pulls the whole unit out a little bit and you have to steady it with your other hand.

All in all, it's cheap and does the job. It's just the right size, especially for students where space is premium. It also looks good.
