samsung bd-c6900, very cool blu ray player.
| Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
To look of the bd-c6900 cry's ''a cool bit of kit'', the player is responsive, having a very good load speed.(CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET IS VERY EASY)Internet is limited to the connection apps available from samsung.com , saying that there are several good ones such as face book, you-tube,google maps, daily motion, muzu.tv,vimeo, viaway internet media, bbc iplayer, news, games and a hand full of subscrition apps.
The player includes Divx, enhanced DivX,mkv, WMV9, AVCHD, DivXHD,MPEG-2,MPEG-4,H.264,VC-1, play back, also the player has good connectivity,Ethernet,USB port,Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio,Wi-Fi. Type of meadi the player supports is very good,DVD+R,BD-ROM,BD-R,BD-RE,CD-R,DVD,CD,DVD+RW,DVD-R,CD-RW,DVD-RW.Home Network Media Sharing DLNA, This was the only problem, trying to stream from the computer, from what i can see there is a clitch in the hardware when it comes to streaming from an other device device disconnects itself from your tv, this is partly due to there being no software for this player when using windows seven.(there may be a fix on a forum you could try thet may works for some.Samsung's support is crap really.all in all the samsung bd-c6900 is at the top of the players in its range, the picture quality is amazing.

Samsung BD-C6900 a 3D Blu ray Stunner
Even without its 3D capabilities, the BD-C6900 would be one of the best Blu-ray players on the market. It boasts a phenomenal range of features, the most impressive of which are comprehensive multimedia support and wireless networking, while its 2D picture quality, fast disc loading and slick operating system are also to be applauded. The only issue is the ghosting on 3D playback, but this is sure to be ironed out over time and the extra depth and visual dynamism still inspire enough wonder to make it worth the investment.
In use, the C6900 is pleasingly sprightly, thanks to a feature dubbed ultra Fast Play. It can get an image on screen from Blu-ray considerably quicker than last year's models.
Despite the unit's lack of girth, image quality is very good. There's some serious silicon beneath the hood of this player and regular Blu-rays look blisteringly sharp. Fine detail is excellent and colour reproduction is without compromise.
When fed with a 3D Blu-ray, you're asked to accept the 3D setting (as if the player doesn't believe its owner really wants to watch movies wearing 3D spex). But stick with it and you'll be rewarded with fun dimensional images. I used it with Samsung's UE46C8000 LED TV and was seriously impressed by the depth
