Tough phone - Samsung B2100
I have drowned three phones in the past (fishing) and so when I had to buy my own, the previous ones were company contract phones, I decided I needed something more robust. If you don't mind a no frills phone then this is great. It still has some useful features like an LED light which is bright, and the radio and camera both work well. I like the quality of the build and the Bluetooth works well. I don't like the lack of brightness and the small size of the screen but that is the price one has to pay for it being waterproof, and it is still visible with no dust build up behind it because of the seals. The battery life is average. The speaker is clear as apparently is the quality of transmission. I also bought one of these for my wife to chuck in her handbag. We don't care about phone looks but this is definitely one of the best looking tough phones around; even our teenage boys want one of their own now! For the money I can't praise it enough. If you like watersports or action sports, or are just heavy on phones I suggest you buy one - it also has a useful cord attachment at the top of the phone for security.

For what this phone costs then value for money its perfect.
If your after something simple, bullet proof, does what it says on the tin thing then buy this phone because it simply works 100%.
If i`m being a bit picky on anything then the key pad is a bit stiff to press on buttons but prob due to being fully waterproof/shock proof and everything else proof lmao!
Honest opinion really is on the whole it makes and recieves calls, long battery life, water and shock proof and is really made to last being used out doors in a big way!

Samsung B2100 Cell Phone
I bought this phone because I am a total numb nuts and keep dropping my phones in water, so I thought I best buy a phone that is suited to a total numb nuts, and searched for a phone for pond use, bingo, this little baby fits the bill, it is dead clever, and you only need a small mobile workshop to open and close the battery cover, after that it is IP57 say the makers, which I assume must mean that it is idiot proof 57 times.
Other amazing features are um oh yeah, it is a phone, a camera, and a torch, do I look the fantastic with the torch on in the dark while dialing the weather service, just so cool. In fact I think the torch is probably brighter than me, well thats what my mum said, but she don't understand phones so I tend to ignore her.
It is really good also because it is red, and my tractor is green, so I can find it easily when I am on my bike, and my nephew thinks its cool as well because he introduces me to all his friends as the local V I, which must mean something Very Important!
Anyway I have never had to write a review before, and it is really hard, only took me most of yesterday today and 2 snack breaks.
Yours a happy B2100 driver

Samsung solid B2100 review.
The reason i bought this phone is that my work involves spending most of my time outdoors in all sorts of weather. For some reason my phone gets the worst of it,dropped in puddles, bashed about,i needed a phone that would survive the trauma.
For the last two years i have been using the Samsung SGH-M110.This is a tough phone but it gave up will to live after i cracked the screen and it went into the washing machine by mistake. So i now have a new tough phone ,the Samsung B2100.I like it.Water proof, dust proof and impact resistant it fits the bill for my needs
and it has plenty of the features you get on more regular phones.Call quality seems good and for the price it is value for money.

phone certainly rugged but interface a but duff
my wife wanted this phone as it looked a simple phone with basic features and easy to use buttons, and oddly she thought it looked rather cool in black and red. indeed the sales blurb sounded good and i have to say its quite a nice phone if you are into the rugged thing. It has phone, messaging, radio, flash light, browser, mp3 pleayer and capacity for a memory card... all good stuff. However the BIG flaw in this phone is the user interface, its rubbish. It's as if you took a leap back 10 years..or even more! Really fiddly, awkward to use and tricky to customise. Quite what Samsung were thinking I have no idea its really awful and I would not buy the phone for this readon alone. Great case really duff software. Worse than that is the fact that the middle large button on the navigation button ALWAYS seems to be fixed to fire up the browser... wich is really dissapointing as you cant reassign it and its very easy to press. But the phone was cheapish so that might be a selling point!
