Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100G - 16 GB - Black (Unlocked) Smartphone

For years, I have been a dedicated Blackberry user and supporter. I still think, if your type of usage is right, then Blackberry is unbeatable at what it does.
However, my usage has changed recently. I bought an Android tablet(Asus Transformer) and really got into Android. I liked its simplicity, low overhead, speed, etc and I started to use the tablet all the time(still use my PC for video editing, etc)
After a wee while, I decided I liked Android so much, I wanted an Android phone. After lots of research and reading reviews by users who actually owned the phone, I decided on the Samsung Galaxy S2 and I have not been disappointed.
I don't think I've ever "taken" to a phone as quickly or as much as this one(my mobile usage dates back to the early '90s when Cellnet was the only carrier and phones were huge and heavy)
The dual core CPU means any task, whether it's txting, emailing, browsing or on fb is effortless.
The 1GB of app memory space is ample for me even though I have downloaded lots from the market
16GB of internal storage seems plenty although I have added a 32GB class 10 card from my Blackberry so I should never run out of space
The screen is big, but it's stunning. The colours and resolution are fantastic. I tried the camera once and it seems to deliver high res images from the 8MP camera. Remember, you could have a 45MP camera on a phone, it's always the lens that's the weak spot so you'll never get images like a digital SLR but if you accept that, they're very good.
My usage:
OK, I have my yahoo mail configured, fb, my Outlook calendar syncs with Jorte calendar(recommended). I have really important stuff like ESPN scores, Sky Sports, Sky+, various encyclopedia, GPS, wifi finder and, of course, Angry Birds.
I have the deal from O2 with 500MB of data. I'm still waiting to see if this is enough. On a Blackberry, it was as BB's are unbeatable at data compression. So far, I've used more data on this in a week than the BB used in a month but I think the 500MB may still be enough.

In summary, I love this phone. It's a joy to use, simple to navigate through and fast.

brilliant phone nice size easy to use battery life really good best phone ive had and i have a lot as i get phone envy lol

I have used this phone for a couple of weeks now, at first i noticed a slight problem with the battery life however it is sufficient for the amount of use i need per day. My previous phone was a samsung galaxy s.
The s2 is absolutely amazing in terms of capability and speed. best phone i have ever seen and used. My parents and sister all have iphones and are all super jelly of mine now.

This is a very good phone with Android OS. It can do anything you want to do with a phone. I recomend it 100%.
