Samsung HT-X810 Home Theater System

I didn't want all the wires and the layout of our living room a full 5.1 was just not practical so went for this its ideal it gives great sound ok its not full surround and the virtual doesn't work that well but its still sounds fantastic the wireless sub is great if a little bassy at times all in all though a great purchase

It looks really good, and matches my Samsung TV, which was the main reason for getting it. Sound wise it's pretty good - much better than the TV standard sound. Don't know if it's as good as using a 5in1 system, as I've never tried that. The base is a bit too much for me on the standard setting, so I've got that turned down quite a lot. It's very easy to set up, it found the wireless subwoofer without me doing anything. I've got mine set up using the HDMI option, and the picture from the DVD player looks good. If you want to get the sound from the TV rather than from the inbult DVD player then you need to use an optical cable to connect it to the TV as well, and it takes a few seconds for it to initialise which I didn't realise, so initally I thought it wasn't working, or I had connected it up correctly. It was very easy to connect my archos player via the bluetooth connection, and it sounds good. Overall I've found it very good.

3 days ago i purchased this awful product!! at first it seemed great on the samsung home webpage but unfortunately when it arrived home it was to my unpleasant suprise that just less than 24 hrs and only 2 times used product died!!! it just stopped working!! the sub woofer makes an awful buzzing and the central console won't make a sound... i sincerly disencourage anyone to buy this product!! please stay away.. i was an ex lg fan and decided to make a step towards a samsung electronic product.. never again!!! so my dear ebayers please note DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

sound is good all round shame the bass n treble cant be adjusted but still brill the quality and finish is very good and picture play back is good quality
