Bought this because it was such good value and would probably be useful as a spare in the future. Now find it's in use immediately.
Compared to other products? Hard to say. It works! Users don't have the technical knowledge nor the test-equipment to verify, measure and compare the specification.
It works fine. Can't ask any more of it.

This drive as received looked new. As it had been removed from a new piece of equipment (Sky box or Digital set top box?) it had some software on it which Windows didn't recognise.(Linux?) A format with Windows soon had the drive ready for use. It is a VERY quiet drive and is slimmer than most.It is no faster or slower than most drives with a 2MB cache. I'm happy with it.

I bought this product i a needed a replacement for my old pc as the currently hard drive within the computer had broke. After researching how to install the hard drive and which kind i needed finding this on ebay was a brilliant find. I liked the product because it was simple to install and was reasonably priced. The product is the product as described and works perfect in my computer.

Replacement hard drive for a DVR

) I have a Humax DVR that gave up the ghost. I got this drive to sort it out AND it worked!
So,I didn't have to scrap it, even though it was four years old.
The new drive cost me £18. A new DVR was going to cost just short of £100.
I think I won this one - totally due to using Ebay.

Good HUMAX 9200T replacement drive

Bought this to replace a failed drive in a Humax 9200T PVR. Works perfectly. Same noise levels, maybe even lower than orginal drive. Very easy to replace.
